Candidates

When you engage with us as a candidate or submit your details for a role, we collect: your name, contact information (email, phone), CV/resume, employment history, educational background, salary expectations, references, right-to-work information, LinkedIn profile, and any additional information you choose to share.

Clients

When you engage us as a client, we collect: business contact details, information about your hiring needs and job specifications, and records of communications with our team.

03 Legal Bases for Processing

Where you are located in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws (such as UAE's Personal Data Protection Law), we rely on the following legal bases:

• Consent — where you have explicitly agreed to specific processing
• Contract — where processing is necessary to deliver services you have engaged us for
• Legitimate interest — for our normal business operations, such as maintaining our candidate database and reaching out about roles relevant to your background
• Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with law

04 How We Share Your Data

We share personal data only where necessary and appropriate, and never for unrelated purposes. The categories of recipients are:

• Prospective employers — with your consent, we introduce candidates to relevant hiring companies
• Zoho Recruit — our applicant tracking system (Zoho Corporation, hosted in the UAE data center)
• Google Analytics — anonymized website analytics
• Netlify — our website hosting provider
• Professional advisors — our legal, accounting, and other advisors where required
• Regulators and law enforcement — where legally required

We do not sell your personal data.

05 International Data Transfers

As a business that operates across ten markets (UAE, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, USA, and Canada), we may transfer your personal data internationally, including to and from countries with different data protection laws than your own. Where such transfers occur, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in line with applicable data protection laws.

06 Data Retention

• Candidate records: up to five years from your last active engagement, unless you request earlier deletion
• Client records: for the duration of our engagement plus seven years for legal, tax, and audit purposes
• Website analytics: typically fourteen months
• Marketing communications: until you unsubscribe or object

07 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data (the "right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Request data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the legal basis)
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction
